This summer, my daughter encouraged me to launch a podcast. She took my ideas, pushed me to find a studio, and even interviewed me for the first episode.

It's something I'd considered for awhile and I'm glad I finally took the leap.

If you're curious how I went from emergency physician to entrepreneur, or if you want to explore how to optimize health and improve the quality of your life, be sure to listen.

The Longevity Lounge offers practical insights on living longer, aging better, and becoming your best self.

Episode 4

In this episode, Meredith Villareal, NP, and I explain why building muscle is the next critical step toward longevity. Muscle isn't just about strength or appearance, it's what helps you stay independent, recover from injuries, maintain your metabolism, support your brain, and continue doing the things you love later in life.
